Introducing the New-Look Scuba Diving Magazine

The March 2018 issue of Scuba Diving Magazine ushers in a new era — both in terms of style and design, but also in content. Don't worry, the magazine will still have the trusted ScubaLab gear reviews and in-depth features that you love, but with more travel and training coverage that should please any dive addict. Take a look at the sneak preview below and hear from our editor-in-chief, Patricia Wuest, on the new-look Scuba Diving.

In June, it will be 26 years since a small group of passionate divers founded Scuba Diving. I thumbed through a dog-eared, yellowed copy of the premiere issue as I sat down to write this editor’s letter. So much change over the years!

With this issue, we’re unveiling a new look for Scuba Diving. As with past relaunches, this one incorporates a new logo, fonts and features. You’ll still find reader favorites like ScubaLab, Sea Heroes and Lessons for Life. But you’ll also discover new features grouped in easy-to-navigate sections:

Ascend: The revamped front of the magazine gets more than a new name; it will focus on inspirational dive experiences, imagery and people.

Train: We’ve expanded our training offerings, including a column that offers underwater photo tips and a first-person case study to accompany Dive Hacks.

Travel: Our long-form travel narratives will be a mix of advanced and beginner diving, and our shorter features, including Liveaboard and Drive and Dive, will be packed with service info so you can plan every aspect of your next dive vacation.
